All of these strategies and techniques are essential for the athlete to have
the optimal physiological potential possible for maximum performance and to
meet the commands of the athletes desires. If hand eye coordination is not in
sync then it doesn't matter how much the athlete desires to execute a play or
move, it cannot happen the way he wants it to. This explains how an outstanding
athlete has an off day on the court, ice or field.
If you were to prepare for a car race you would give your car a tune up first
by checking out all the working parts to see if everything was operating in
synchronization for the best and fasted race possible. This is exactly what
the athlete must do to prepare for each and every game in order to give his
best. He must have the ATHLETIC COMPETITIVE EDGE.
